About Elegant Ceilings & Walls
Elegant Ceilings & Walls (Plafond & Mur Élégant in French) sells decorative ceiling tiles and wall panels to homeowners, contractors and businesses across Canada. Founded in 2009 and based in Anjou (Montreal), Quebec, it is the only authorized Canadian distributor of Ceilume, and also carries LEVANTO, T|Karra, Embassy and Finium. Orders can be placed online, by phone or at the showroom, and most products ship to all 10 provinces.
How it started
The company started with a basement. Eric Marino, now its President, had bought a house with a plain suspended ceiling in the basement. He wanted something more decorative but could not find anything suitable in Canada. He found Ceilume in the United States and ordered its tiles for his own basement. He was so impressed with the result that he decided to offer the products to Canadians, and Elegant Ceilings & Walls was founded in 2009.

Help from planning to delivery
Choosing a decorative ceiling raises practical questions: which tiles fit the existing grid, how many to order, which borders and accessories are needed, and how to install them. Our team guides each customer through these steps, works from their plans or measurements, and coordinates directly with their contractor when there is one. Elegant Ceilings & Walls does not install ceilings, but we can refer you to a contractor if you would rather not do the work yourself.

Discover why suspended ceilings are the ideal solution for basements.
“To me it’s a no-brainer that, given the choice, a suspended ceiling is the way to go for basements. But if those institutional-looking two- by four-foot foam rectangles we are so used to seeing in commercial buildings are putting you off, you need to know there are new ceiling systems that look stylish.”
